The Northern Way, Welcome to the North, pubic art programme was an ambitious initiative investing £4.5m into supporting public art projects.  The project sought to change perceptions of the North of England.

This was the largest public art programme of its kind in Britain, bringing together internationally renowned artists, expert project teams and diverse locations to make a significant impact on people and places in the North and beyond.
